WDYPTW: Weekly Written Round Up

WDYPTW: Weekly Written Round Up

It was an exciting week over on www.wdyptw.com we had 3 new articles hit the website and we also had two audio shows hit. On Monday morning Week 150 hit and we announced our changes in format, going from a weekly podcast to an every other week show. We also had a Conversation Thing with Chris Kirkman land on Tuesday morning. Patrick Hillier sat down and he chatted with Chris about gaming, Gen Con, Kickstarter & the newest Dice Hate Me/Greater Than Games title, Legends of Sleepy Hollow

On to our written content. On Wednesday our newest contributor, Chris Wray, dropped his first article for WDYPTW, and it was all about his Top 10 Trick Taking Games. It stirred up a bit of a hornet's nest, but all in all it was a really well received list and I'm really happy to have Chris writing for us every now and then on WDYPTW.

On Thursday, Brandon Kempf, aka me, posted a review of the wonderful DownForce. I hope everyone gets a chance to try it, and if not, I hope this review really makes you want to and then feel bad when you don't get to. Or something like that.

Then on Friday, I also posted my first Caveat Emptor article. This recurring spot will highlight the newest Kickstarter projects in the board gaming world, along with a couple others that I find that are of interest. Just because I post about them, doesn't mean I am backing them, but I figured folks would want to have a look at some of the new projects that launch every week.

That's it for this week in written content over on WDYPTW, come back next week, we should have some fantastic Essen Spiel 2017 coverage, a preview of the upcoming Kickstarter Game from Green Couch Games, Forest of Fun, another Caveat Emptor, and who knows what else.
