Punchboard Media: Giving the Gift of Games Update, and One More Giveaway!
Last month, we asked for your help to give away care packages of games to some worthy causes. I am proud to announce that we have just mailed out more than twenty games in three care packages to different organizations, in addition to sending two games to the BoardGameGeek Hurricane Harvey Relief Effort, thanks to Punchboard Media content creators Brandon Kempf and Eric Buscemi.
The first care package was sent to the Dayton, Ohio Ronald McDonald House at the suggestion of Patrick Hillier, as a way to help those needing to use the facility to pass the time while waiting.
The second package was sent to the NEA Gamers Guild, which is hosting the NEA Game Fest to benefit the Children’s Shelter, at the suggestion of Brody Sheard, in order to modernize the Children’s Shelter’s game library.
The third package was sent to the Multiple Disabilities class at Spotswood High School in Penn Laird, Virginia at the suggestion of Sarah Mahood, in order to use the games to teach the students reasoning skills in a different way.
While our summer of game giveaways is coming to a close, we do have one more giveaway for you before the summer ends in a few weeks.
This contest is simple:
Pick one of your favorite content creators on the Punchboard Media network.
Find any of their posts on punchboardmedia.com.
Comment at the bottom of the post telling them what you love about their content with the hashtag #keepmakinggreatcontent. And make sure to leave your email address or Twitter handle so we can contact you if you win!
One random winner will be sent a copy of Xenon Profiteer, designed by TC Petty III -- who is also a Punchboard Media content creator as a co-host of The State of Games podcast. While you can only get one entry into this contest, feel free to post to multiple content creators and share the good feelings around!
